Your responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the demand planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement demand forecasting strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Analyze sales data, market conditions, and customer insights to generate accurate demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with promotional activities and product launches.
  • Utilize forecasting tools and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in demand planning processes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Conduct regular reviews of forecast accuracy and adjust strategies as necessary to improve performance.
  • Support inventory management initiatives to reduce excess stock while meeting customer service levels.

Your qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or Supply Chain related certification would be a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the consumer electronics or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in German and English is required; additional languages, especially Korean, are a plus.
