Your responsibilities
∙ [Design Research] Conduct consumer and lifestyle trend research to discover design insights
- Monitor emerging trends, techs & news, ideate how to implement such into LG design working process
∙ [Design Development] Create trends and lifestyle-based design direction + design output
- Creative visualization (modelling, renderings, videos, supplemental visual materials)
- Tangible materials (CMF samples, prototyping mock-ups etc.)
∙ [Design Networking] Plan, facilitate and support design/designer networking events
- Plan, collaborate and manage open innovation projects with in/external partners (project dependent)
- Collaborate/support regional sales/marketing events involving design contribution
∙ [Design Management] Organize and manage LGE Design Europe operation
- Organizational admin task assistance
- Create periodic progress reports and meeting logs
Your qualifications
∙ Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial/product/automotive/interior design or relevant studies
∙ More than 2 experience in industrial and/or product design role
∙ Knowledge and experience in below will be an added value :
- CMF design (+production/manufacturing)
- Digital design (+visual/graphic design, AI generated design etc.)
- Advanced design to mass production experience
- Diverse consumer product industries (interior, fashion, auto etc.)
∙ Team-first player and proactive communicator
∙ Creative storyteller, contributor and networker
∙ Attention to micro-details and aesthetics
∙ Experience/understanding of European living/market environment
∙ Awareness of regional and cultural diversities in Europe
∙ Adobe creative tools, 3D(ex. NX, Creo, Rhinoceros, Keyshot etc.), Video(ex. Premiere, After Effect etc.), MS office and other relevant tools
∙ Fluent in English. German and/or Korean language will be a plus
∙ Able to travel frequently (mainly EU, abroad on occasion)
∙ Driving will be required on occasion
